Information BenchCue uses
BenchCue uses the minimum information needed to authenticate a Shopify shop, maintain its installation, verify its Shopify App Pricing plan, and provide its order-production tools. Installation records can include the shop domain, access and session tokens, granted scopes, token expiry, and merchant account metadata supplied during Shopify authentication.
On an order page, BenchCue reads the order reference, item title, variant, SKU, quantity, and public line-item customization properties. It does not request customer names, email addresses, phone numbers, billing addresses, or shipping addresses, and it does not modify orders.
Printing and retention
When a merchant invokes the print action, filtered production details are held in volatile application memory behind an opaque random token for no more than five minutes. They are never written to BenchCue's database. Underscore-prefixed properties are filtered before transfer.
Installation and session records are retained while needed to operate the app and are deleted when Shopify sends the applicable shop-redaction request. BenchCue does not use advertising pixels or behavioral marketing telemetry and does not sell personal information.
Service providers and security
Shopify processes information as part of the Shopify platform. DigitalOcean processes BenchCue application data in New York, United States.
Safeguards include HTTPS, Shopify-authenticated requests and webhooks, secrets outside source control, restricted access, short retention, and dependency monitoring. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
Questions and deletion requests
Merchants can uninstall BenchCue to revoke its access. Shopify's mandatory privacy webhooks handle customer and shop privacy requests. Questions can be sent to support@revertcreations.com.
